First Mortgage Services is locally owned and operated and began originating mortgage loans in June 1997.  It is presently celebrating its 25^th anniversary.  It is also one of a few mortgage companies in Maryland that is independently owned.  As a mortgage company, First Mortgage Services arranges mortgage loan financing for the purchase and refinance of residential property.  Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans are available.  Since it began operations, First Mortgage Services has originated nearly $900 million in mortgage loans to over 6,000 local families.
